A try-dive is the perfect way to take your first breath underwater – safely, easily, and without needing any prior experience. Guided by a certified instructor, you’ll enjoy a unique introduction to scuba diving in one of the most beautiful coastal areas of Estartit.
The activity takes place on the Montgrí Coast, in the Natural Park of Montgrí, the Medes Islands and the Baix Ter. It should be noted that it is not allowed to do try-dives in the Medes Islands, since, to dive there you need to have at least level 1 diving, in compliance with the regulations for the protection of the marine environment.
That said, the meeting point for the activity is at the dive centre one hour before the boat departs. First you have to fill in the medical form to verify that there are no health contraindications; in addition, we prepare all the necessary equipment for you. The price of the activity includes everything, i.e. the trip, the instructor, the complete equipment and the diving insurance.
On board the boat, you will receive an explanation of the basics of diving. The dive is then done individually with an instructor (one on one), adapting the experience to the pace of each person to ensure a safe and comfortable experience. The sea dive lasts approximately 20 minutes, with a maximum depth of 10 metres. In total, the whole trip lasts approximately 2 hours.
At the end of the activity, you will receive a certificate of attendance and a 10% discount on the Open Water Diver course, if you decide to continue your diving .
