Advanced Open Water qualification, Adventure Diver Certification or equivalent
The PADI Deep Diver speciality course takes place over two full days. A total of four dives are carried out, three of which take place in the Medes Islands and one on the Montgrí coast. The dives are carried out according to the plan and the dive site.
This course will help you acquire the skills necessary to dive beyond the depth limits of Advanced Open Water. You will make four dives with a PADI instructor, practising descents, buoyancy and safety stops. You will gain the skills and confidence to explore to a maximum depth of 40 metres/130 feet and discover how deep dives affect colour, physical objects and your brain.
With this practical part, you will learn:
How to plan deep dives
How to manage your gas supply
How to identify and control narcosis
How to control buoyancy at depth
